Frank Oz, thesp James Remar, “Walking Dead” creator Robert Kirkman and “The Simpsons” will be feted at the the 38th Annual Saturn Awards on July 26.

Oz will receive the Life Career Award for his contributions to genre filmmaking. The puppeteer brought life to characters including Yoda in the “Star Wars” films and the Muppet Miss Piggy. He also helmed pics including “Little Shop of Horrors” and 2007’s “Death at a Funeral.”

Another Life Career Award will be bestowed on Remar, who plays the father and mentor of the titular character in Showtime’s “Dexter.” Credits include “Battlestar Galactica,” “Jericho” and “The Cotton Club.” He will next be seen in the Quentin Tarantino-helmed “Django Unchained.”

Kirkman, who exec produces AMC’s hit zombie series, will be honored with the Innovator Award. Fox’s “The Simpsons,” TV’s longest-running primetime scripted skein, is this year’s Milestone Award winner.

The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films will present the Saturn Awards at a ceremony in Burbank.
