The cast of “Bridesmaids” are the first presenters to sign on for the upcoming Academy Awards telecast, producers Brian Grazer and Don Mischer announced Thursday.
Oscar-nominated supporting actress Melissa McCarthy and screenwriting nominee Kristen Wiig will present alongside castmates Rose Byrne, Ellie Kemper, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Maya Rudolph. All six will be making their first Oscar show appearances.
The 84th annual Academy Awards will be presented Feb. 26 at the Kodak Theater and televised on ABC and in more than 225 countries worldwide.
