Sam Grossman joins CollegeHumor

Former MTV and Comedy Central exec named VP of Development

CollegeHumor Media has tapped Sam Grossman for the newly-created position of senior VP of development.

Grossman will be responsible for the development of original longform content for both TV and online. He’ll report directly to CollegeHumor Media CEO Paul Greenberg.

Grossman previously served as director of development at both MTV and Comedy Central. At MTV, he oversaw the creation and production of series including “Human Giant” and “Silent Library.” Grossman has also developed and produced programming for The Onion, the late Patrice O’Neal and web video masterminds The Gregory Brothers.

“We are very pleased to have Sam Grossman joining the CollegeHumor Media team,” said Greenberg. “His experience, extensive knowledge and innovative approach will be essential to continuing our successful foray into quality longform content.”

“This is the most exciting thing I’ve been involved in since that time I was briefly mistaken for one of The Barenaked Ladies,” joked Grossman.
