Lightfield capture is still in its infancy, but given the promise it brings to the industry, it’s never too early to start getting familiar with it. Lytro cameras are the only technology on the market showcasing the technology, which allows users to choose parts of an image to change focal point, perspective or even dimensionality. The cameras are surprisingly easy to manage; simply take your pictures, import them to your PC, then choose what part of them you want to feature with a click of the mouse.
