Edith and Carolyn — Edith Pfeffer, the Clinton County, Iowa Republican chairwoman and Carolyn Talett, the woman who woke her up because of apparent missing votes from her precinct. They were on the phone with CNN after midnight, as John King informed Pfeffer that the vote tally she gave him, possibly giving the Iowa victory to Mitt Romney, didn't match those given to the state. "What do you mean, the numbers don’t match?!” Pfeffer asked, drawing laughs from the CNN panel. King suspected that Pfeffer's numbers were missing from the state results. "We think we solved the problem, but we are not the final voice here," he said.
