Sean Penn, Kid Rock Make Video Pitch for Partisan Peace

This campaign season is populated with many, many web videos of all stripes, but a new 10-minute short called "Americans," coming from Sean Penn and Kid Rock, is certainly one of the more unusual. The message is that despite the heated rhetoric of election year, two men on opposite sides of the political spectrum can still share gifts, make sand castles, even bike together. Wasn't this humorous video the same message of the 2010 Rally to Restore Sanity? We'll see if it leads to better results. Anyhow, both performers can probably gain from this olive branch, as each hasn't been shy about engaging in polarized politics.
