Obama Campaign Holding Contest to Win Entrance to George Clooney Event

President Obama's reelection campaign is raffling off two tickets to the May 10 fundraiser at the home of George Clooney.

The Los Angeles event, expected to draw stars and studio executives, costs $40,000 per person, but supporters who enter the raffle need not contribute to win.

Clooney raised money for Obama at a fundraiser in Switzerland in 2008, but has been reluctant to campaign with the president, worried that his presence may hurt more than help.

The campaign's letter promoting the raffle — which is called Obama, Clooney & You — is below.
