Comedy Central isn’t giving any time off to its ”Workaholics.”

Laffer about a group of office slackers has been renewed for a second season. Cabler gave the go-ahead for 10 new episodes.

Since it launched April 6, series has been performing well, averaging 1.2 million viewers for the first four episodes. ”Workaholics” has also shown double-digit growth in the 18-49 demo each week of its first season.

”It’s not only gratifying to know the audience for ‘Workaholics’ has grown week by week, but also rewarding to see how the show is changing the way people live and work,” said Kent Alterman, head of original programming and production. ”Pretty soon, our national productivity will be so low we will all have more leisure time.”

Series stars Blake Anderson, Adam Devine and Anders Holm. Kyle Newacheck directs each episode.
