WE TV has renewed “Braxton Family Values” for a second season and greenlit three new original series.
“Braxton Family Values,” an hourlong featuring singer Toni Braxton and her four sisters, received a 12-episode order that will hit the air in 2012.
” ‘Braxton Family Values’ has struck a chord with our audiences – it’s one of our most popular shows ever,” WE TV prexy/g.m. Kim Martin said.
The first of the new series is “Amsale Girls,” which will launch a six-episode season at 10 p.m. Sundays beginning June 12. Produced by Authentic Entertainment, series will focus on the working and personal lives of workers at a Manhattan bridal shop.
“Texas Multi Mamas” comes next from Shed Media, with eight episodes premiering at 9 p.m. Tuesdays starting Oct. 25, followed in 2012 by six episodes of Rivr Media’s “The Willis Clan,” about a family of 12 kids and their parents.
WE is also importing unscripted series “Family Restaurant,” which has aired on Food Network Canada, for an August premiere, and bringing back “The Cupcake Girls” for a second season starting in June.
