Warren Buffett joins ‘Office’ finale

Billionaire sets cameo on NBC laffer as job applicant

Add another name to the long roster of celebrities appearing in the season finale of “The Office”: Warren Buffett.

NBC confirmed the billionaire investor will make a cameo in Thursday’s episode, interviewing for the job as a replacement to Michael Scott, the character Steve Carell played until last month.

Buffett joins a star-studded list of notable names coming to the “Office” finale, including Jim Carrey, Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, James Spader, Ray Romano and Catherine Tate.

Buffett enlisted the “Office” cast for a skit shown in April at the annual shareholders meeting for his company, Berkshire Hathaway. Carell appeared in the skit, in which Buffett pretends to take over for Michael Scott as the head of the Scranton branch of fictional “Office” company Dunder Mifflin.
