TNT has announced premiere dates for both its new and returning series.
Noah Wyle starrer “Falling Skies,” exec produced by Steven Spielberg, will debut with a two-hour episode June 19. Show, which centers on an alien invasion of Earth and the resistance formed by the survivors, will regularly air at 10 p.m. Sundays.
“Franklin and Bash” the other new skein from the Turner cabler, will premiere June 1. Starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer, law dramedy will air 9 p.m. Wednesdays.
As far as existing series coming back, net’s freshman hit “Rizzoli and Isles” begins its second season at 10 p.m. July 11. On the same date but an hour earlier, Kyra Sedgwick’s “The Closer” will return for its seventh season.
Other debut dates for returning shows: “Men of a Certain Age” (June 1), “Memphis Beat” (June 14), “Hawthorne” (June 14) and “Leverage” (June 26).
L.A. cop drama “Southland” ended its third season Tuesday and a renewal for the fourth season is expected shortly (Variety, March 7).
