“How I Met Your Mother” exec producer Stephen Lloyd has signed a two-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television.
He will continue on the series as well as develop new projects for the studio.
“The priority here is to ensure the continued strength of ‘How I Met your Mother’ and keep that creative team in place,” said 20th chair Dana Walden. “Stephen is a key component to keeping the series successful.”
Studio recently signed a similar deal with another “Mother” exec producer, Kourtney Kang. She and Lloyd oversee the series with its creators, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas.
Lloyd has been affiliated with 20th for a long time, having served as co-exec producer on the studio’s sitcom “Stacked” and as a writer on “Greg the Bunny.” He also served as co-exec producer on NBC’s “Just Shoot Me.”
He had a previous overall deal with 20th before joining the “Mother” writing staff in 2005.
Lloyd is repped by UTA.
