USA Network has upped Ryan Sharkey to senior VP of program acquisitions and administration.
Sharkey will continue to oversee program acquisitions including series and theatrical films for the cabler. He also manages the program inventory for Sleuth and Universal HD and acts as head coordinator-buyer for select NBCUniversal cable properties.
He participated in talks for USA’s offnet series pickups “Modern Family,” “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “CSI.” On the theatrical side, recent USA acquisitions include “The Bourne Ultimatum.” and a handful of James Bond titles.
