Joel K. Savitt has been hired as VP of production and operations at NBCUniversal lifestyle cabler Oxygen. Savitt wil report to senior VP of development Cori Abraham in Oxygen’s West Coast office.
Savitt worked as VP of production at Katalyst Films while the shingle was making “Spread” and “Killers” and managed production of pilots for ABC and several cablers. Prior to Katalyst, Savitt worked at GoGo Lucky Entertainment and has worked as coordinating producer on CBS’s “Amazing Race” for two seasons.
