Content includes new 'Kung Fu Panda' series

Nickelodeon plans to beef up its Saturday morning toon block with a new entry from DreamWorks Animation, “Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness.” Show expands the net’s partnership with DWA, which began with “The Penguins of Madagascar.”

Nick at Nite will add “Friends” and “Yes, Dear” to its lineup. TeenNick will get a new nighttime program block called “The 90’s Are All That!” resurrecting vintage Nickelodeon shows including “Clarissa Explains It All” and “Salute Your Shorts” among other notables.

Net will air 450 new animation episodes over the next three years. Further Nick programming includes a new “Avatar: The Last Airbender” series, a new animated “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” series starring “American Pie” thesp Jason Biggs, and “iCarly”/”Victorious” crossover telepic “iParty With Victorious,” set for June 10. Also new to the net: “Supah Ninjas,” a halfhour live-action comedy skein starring Ryan Potter and “Star Trek” thesp George Takei, and “Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures.”
