Lovebirds Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are finally getting their own E! series. “Khloé & Lamar” (working title), from Ryan Seacrest Prods. and Bunim-Murray, is set to launch in early 2011.
Seacrest and Bunim-Murray are behind the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” mothership, which has already spawned the spinoffs “Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami” and “Kourtney and Kim Take New York.”
In “Khloé & Lamar,” cameras will follow the Kardashian sister and the Los Angeles Lakers star into their home. Show will also feature brother Robert Kardashian, who’s currently living with the couple.
“Khloé and Lamar are such a dynamic couple that we just knew we had to give them their own series,” said E! entertainment programming exec VP Lisa Berger. “They are fascinating individuals in their own right, and together the duo is a powerhouse.”
Berger called the duo “funny, dramatic, opinionated, and we intend to capture all this, along with the unvarnished reality of their lives together and apart, since each is constantly followed by their own celebrity spotlight.”
In 2009, the couple got engaged just one month after they began dating.
Show will also follow Odom on the road as he plays for the Lakers.
E! ordered eight episodes of the show, which comes from Ryan Seacrest Prods. and Bunim-Murray Prods. Ryan Seacrest, Jon Murray, Jeff Jenkins, Gil Goldschein and Farnaz Farjam are executive producers, as is Kris Jenner.
