Huffman arrives at VH1, Pollack to Lifetime

Reality execs on the move to new cable nets

In an exec shuffle among cablers, VH1 has hired Tom Huffman as its new VP of original programming while Lifetime has grabbed Noah Pollack from VH1.

Huffman arrives from Shed Media, which produces “Basketball Wives” for the cabler. Net has also pacted with Shed for the upcoming series “Celebrity Aptitude Test” from Randy Jackson.

Prior to arriving at Shed Media, Huffman was a development exec at Mark Burnett Prods.

Pollack will be Lifetime’s VP of reality programming. At VH1 he was VP of series development and original programming.

Lifetime has several new reality series going forward, including “Project Accessory,” “America’s Supernanny” and a pickup of former Fox staple “America’s Most Wanted.”
