LONDON — “Hell on Wheels,” the new oater that will bow in the U.S. on AMC in November, has been sold to 19 territories across Europe.
Endemol Worldwide Distribution announced deals with France (AB Droits), Spain (Antena 3), Norway (TV Norge) and Turkey (CNBC-e).
It has also been picked up by Sundance Channel, which means it will air in Spain, Portugal and across Central and Eastern Europe.
“Hell on Wheels” is produced by eOne with Endemol USA and Nomadic Pictures. Several cast members will be at Mipcom, which kicks off Monday in Cannes.
In other pre-Mipcom announcements, Zodiak Rights, the international division of Zodiak Media Group, has acquired rights to ITV docu “Susan Boyle: An Unlikely Superstar,” by Firecracker Films, about the singer made famous by “Britain’s Got Talent.”
DRG and MTV will unveil the U.S. version of “The Inbetweeners” at the sales mart following the hit film and U.K. Channel 4 series.
