Gummer cast in NBC’s ‘Smash’

Streep's daughter to have guest, possibly recurring, role

Grace Gummer has been cast for a guest spot, and possible recurring role, in NBC’s upcoming Broadway drama “Smash.”

Actress, who is Meryl Streep’s daughter, will play the daughter of Angelica Huston and Michael Cristofer. She had a small role this summer in bigscreen pic “Larry Crowne” and has extensive legit experience on the East Coast.

Thesp also recently starred in the NickTeen series “Gigantic,” which ran for one season and ended earlier this year.

Smash,” from Universal Television, is set to debut Feb. 6, running at 10 p.m. Mondays.

Gummer is repped by CAA and Anonymous Content.
