Fox going to ‘Hell’ with new series

Ramsay to examine hotels for latest reality skein

Fox is diving deeper into the Gordon Ramsay business, ordering a new unscripted series fronted by the Brit celeb-chef, “Hotel Hell.”

Reality skein, from Ramsay’s production shingle One Potato Two Potato, will have him traveling across the country to fix struggling hotels, mediocre motels and downscale bed and breakfasts.

Ramsay at present has three skeins on Fox: “Hell’s Kitchen,” “MasterChef” and “Kitchen Nightmares,” with the latter beginning its fourth season Friday. He will exec produce “Hotel Hell” with One Potato’s Adeline Ramage Rooney, Patricia Llewellyn and Ben Adler.

There’s no word yet on a premiere date.

“These are stories that everyone can relate to, because virtually all of us have had a bad hotel experience that’s turned a holiday or business trip into a total disaster,” Ramsay said. “It’s time to put the hospitality industry to the test.”
