Barry moves to Prospect Park

Exec comes from long stint at ABC Studios

Josh Barry, the former head of current and drama development at ABC Studios, is moving to Prospect Park.

At Prospect Park — the film, TV and music shingle founded by Jeff Kwatinetz and Rich Frank — Barry will be responsible for developing and producing drama, comedy and reality series.

“Josh is the perfect fit for the company as we really focus on expanding our TV and content slate,” said Kwatinetz. “He has a track record complete with key network experience and a passion for cultivating writers of different genres and styles.” At ABC, Barry had a hand in developing dramas such as “Desperate Housewives” and “Lost.”Prospect Park skeins include USA Network’s “Royal Pains” and FX’s “Wilfred,” which stars Elijah Wood and launches June 23.
