ABC will launch 10 series this summer, including a pair of scripted hours.

New wartime drama “The Hot Zone” will be joined by a second season of cop drama “Rookie Blue.” “Zone,” from Canada’s Sienna Films and the U.K.’s Artists Studio, will air Tuesdays at 10 p.m. beginning June 21. From Thump Inc. and Entertainment One, “Blue” airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. beginning June 16.

New unscripted hours coming to the schedule include Endemol format “101 Ways to Leave a Game Show” (9 p.m., June 16) and “America’s Karaoke Challenge” (9 p.m., Aug. 8), which follows the Karaoke World Championships USA tournament.

ABC is also looking to launch unscripted series from some of the genre’s top producers: “Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition” (10 p.m., May 30) is an extension of ABC’s reality franchise from the makers of “The Biggest Loser,” 3 Ball Prods.; “Survivor” creator Mark Burnett is behind adventure skein “Expedition: Impossible” (9 p.m., June 21); and “Take the Money and Run” (9 p.m., July 28) is from Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Bertram Van Munster, the forces behind “The Amazing Race.”

Other summer staples returning include “Wipeout” (sneak peek June 16 at 8 p.m.; it moves to its regular timeslot June 21 at 8 p.m.) and both “The Bachelorette” (sneak peek 9-11 p.m. May 23; regular timeslot bow 8-10 p.m. on May 30) and its spinoff, “The Bachelor Pad” (8-10 p.m. on Aug. 8).
