ABC has pulled “Man Up” from its schedule.
In season-to-date averages that include full-week DVR playback, “Man Up” was averaging a 2.1 rating/5 share in adults 18-49 and 7.1 million viewers overall — but “Last Man Standing” is faring much better in front of it (3.4/10, 11.8 million).
This week’s ratings may have been the deciding factor, as “Last Man Standing” was up week to week while “Man Up” dipped to a new low.
Net shot 13 episodes of the skein, and production was finished about a month ago. Eight episodes have aired, and ABC may run off the remaining segs in the summer.
Looking to move on, ABC is also aggressively promoting “Work It,” which will fill the 8:30 p.m. Tuesday slot beginning Jan. 3.
“Man up” stars Mather Zickel, Dan Fogler and Christopher Moynihan as three guys trying to find their manhood.
Produced by the Alphabet’s own ABC Studios, series is exec produced by Christopher Moynihan, Victor Fresco, Ron West and Kelly Kulchak.
