Fox Broadcasting Co. upped Tom Morrissey to senior VP of design, where he will responsible for the creative design of promos for network’s programming and branding across all media. Morrissey, who has been with Fox since 1996, has spearheaded creative for promo campaigns on behalf of such Fox series such as “Glee,” “House,” “Fringe,” “24” and “American Idol.”

Cathy Hetzel, prexy of Rentrak’s Advanced Media and Information division, has been named corporate prez of the B.O. tracking firm, while Ron Giambra, formerly exec veep of theatrical worldwide, has been promoted to prexy of theatrical worldwide. Hetzel joined Rentrak in 2004. Giambra came aboard in 2001 and was most recently upped in 2008.

Spirit Digital Media, part of Content Media Corp., has hired Zev Suissa as creative director to oversee the development of original properties for multiple platforms. Before joining Spirit, Zev was VP of production and development for Agility Studios.

Julie Choi has been appointed senior veep of programming and development for Mnet, the English-lingo channel devoted to Asian pop culture. Based in Los Angeles, Choi joins the multiplatform venture after working as a producer on shows including “Dancing With the Stars” and “The Biggest Loser.”
