Martha Stewart revamps exec lineup

Ken West named CFO; Geoffrey Darby, Michael Morrison join TV unit

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia has tapped former Marvel Entertainment exec Ken West as chief financial officer.

The company also named new execs for its TV unit, namely Geoffrey Darby, who will oversee the TV division as general manager, and Michael Morrison, who will produce “The Martha Stewart Show.”

There’s been plenty of change at MSO during the past year. In May, the company hired the Blackstone Group to find partners who could help the company find a direction. It also hired Lisa Gersh, who helped to found NBCUniversal cabler Oxygen, to serve as president and chief operating officer starting in June.

West is taking over for interim CFO Allison Jacques, who will stay on as senior VP-controller. CFO Kelli Turner left the company earlier this year.

Darby joins Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia from the Weather Channel; he’s also worked at other cable networks including Oxygen. Season seven of “Martha Stewart” begins Sept. 26.
