Gray Ainsworth has been upped to exec veep and g.m. of Deluxe Digital Media. Ainsworth oversees all post-production operations in Los Angeles and the television facilities of Encore Hollywood, Level 3 and Next Element.
Univision Communications has named Roberto Llamas exec veep and chief human resources officer. Llamas, who reports to CEO Joe Uva, comes to the Spanish-lingo media giant from Nielsen, where he held the same post.
Hillary Harris has advanced to exec director of Warner Bros. Special Events. In 1993, Harris founded the department that produces more than 250 events a year, including premieres, cast parties and charity fundraisers.
Emilio Nunez has been promoted to senior veep of movies and original programming for VOD provider In Demand. Based in New York, Nunez oversees all programming deals with the majors and other suppliers. He also oversees Howard Stern’s subscription VOD service, Howard TV on Demand.
Discovery Channel has upped Camilla Carpenter to senior veep of strategy and network operations. Carpenter, who joined Discovery in 2004, was previously veep of strategy.
Allyson Davis has been appointed veep of marketing for Universal Sports Network. Davis joins the cabler, owned by NBC Sports and InterMedia Partners, from Big Top Marketing and Promotions, where she was co-prexy.
