Fox Intl. Channels has tapped Liz Dolan as chief marketing officer. Dolan comes to Fox after holding the same post at Oprah Winfrey Network. She also spent a decade as a top marketing exec at Nike.

Jennifer Dorian has taken on an expanded role as senior veep of strategy development for Turner Entertainment Networks and its animation, young adults and kids media group. Dorian, who joined Turner in 2000, previously was senior veep of network strategy and brand development.

WE TV and Wedding Central have named Deirdre O’Hearn veep of development for the Rainbow Media-owned cablers. O’Hearn spent 16 years with A&E Networks, rising through the ranks as a programming exec and exec producer of the “Biography” series.

Jordan Wertlieb has advanced to exec veep at Hearst Television in New York. He’s spent the past five years as prexy and g.m. of Hearst’s WBAL Baltimore.

Sundance Channel has appointed Marco Bresaz veep of original programming and development. Bresaz comes to the cabler from TV Land, where he held the same title.

Tom Brown has flown to the post of veep of production and operations at Little Airplane Prods. He joined the kidvid shop behind “The Wonder Pets” and other shows in 2002.

Robert Edney has been named veep of advertising sales for the Nashville-based Documentary Channel. Edney was previously director of national corporate sponsorships for pubcaster WNET New York. The channel has also promoted Jay Kelley to senior veep of marketing and business development.

Maya Entertainment has tapped E! alum Mark Sonnenberg as chief operating officer. Sonnenberg will oversee business operations for the production-distribution outfit headed by Moctesuma Esparza and Jeff Valdez. Sonnenberg has logged exec stints at E!, FX and InDemand.

Dan Sabreen has been upped to senior manager of communications at CBS Sports. Sabreen joined the Eye’s College Sports Network in 2005.
