DDA Public Relations has promoted Los Angeles office chief Dana Archer to Executive VP.
The company made the announcement Sunday at the Toronto Film Festival, noting that Archer, with oversight across all North American accounts, has been “instrumental” in developing the international corporate publicity practice with clients such as FilmNation Entertainment, Alliance Films / Momentum Pictures, the Dubai International Film Festival, LLeju Productions, Participant Media, Samuel Hadida and his Davis Films banner and Crime Scene Pictures.
DDA’s current international film campaigns include “Ides of March,” “Immortals 3D,” “Machine Gun Preacher,” “Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy,” “Abduction,” “The Hunger Games,” Parker,” “Hugo” and “The Rum Diary.”
“Over the past two years we have built up the expertise in our LA office so we are now able to service clients internationally and domestically at all stages of a film from pre-production through release,” Archer said. “My new role will give me the opportunity to develop DDA Los Angeles’ client base, as well as the areas in which we operate. ”
Archer joined DDA in 2009 from Weber Shandwick. She was previously with B/W/R Public Relations and Warren Cowan & Associates.
