Nomination Reaction: Alexandre Desplat

Best Original Score - 'The King's Speech'

Alexandre Desplat, nommed for composer for “The King’s Speech,” has had an incredibly busy few years, but he likes it that way.

“It feels a little bit of a marathon this year but there really is no sense of tiredness because my passion is so strong,” he said. “I don’t mind working 18-hour days and which is why this nomination is so nice because it shows what happens with a little hard work.”
