‘Limitless’ tops Friday B.O.

Other top five films, including 'Lincoln Lawyer,' in horse race

Friday’s top five pics are a bit topsy turvy this week.

New Relativity pic “Limitless” took the top spot with roughly $6.5 million in 2,756 runs. But the other top films are neck-and-neck in box office estimates.

Sony’s “Battle: Los Angeles” earned about $4.5 million in 3,417 engagements on Friday, while new Universal pic “Paul” collected about $4.4 million 2,802 runs. Paramount’s “Rango” earned an estimated $4.2 mil in 3,843 runs. The new Lionsgate Films pic “The Lincoln Lawyer” earned about $4 million in 2,707 engagements.

The rest of the top 10 were clearer.

Warner Bros. Pic “Red Riding Hood” took in about $2.4 million in 3,030 runs, while Universal’s “The Adjustment Bureau” collected about $1.8 in 2,660 engagements. Disney’s 3D pic “Mars Needs Moms” earned around $1.5 million in 3,117 runs. CBS Films pic “Beastly” took in about $1.1 million in 1,810 engagements. Touchstone/Disney 3D pic “Gnomeo and Juliet” finishes in the top 10 with about $654,000 in 1,748 runs.
