Justin Long, Merritt Wever (“Nurse Jackie”), Ari Graynor (“Fringe”) and Josh Hamilton (“The Coast of Utopia”) are among the thesps who have joined the roster at the 2011 Williamstown Theater Festival.
Annual summer legit season in Williamstown, Mass. tends to attract a fair share of Broadway and screen talent, thanks in part to its relative proximity to Gotham. Sam Rockwell, Lili Taylor and current Tony nominee Lily Rabe are among the actors earlier announced to appear.
Long, who last year starred in the Williamstown staging of “Samuel J. and K.,” and Graynor have signed on for Lewis Black play “One Slight Hitch” in July, while Hamilton joins Rabe and Taylor in a Sam Gold-directed production of “A Doll’s House” later that month. Wever and Michael Chernus (“The Aliens”) appear in Bess Wohl’s “Touched” in August.
Further casting details, including the actors tapped to star in recent season addition “Three Hotels” by Jon Robin Baitz, remain to be announced.
