Legit producer Roger Berlind will take home the lifetime achievement award from the 62nd annual New Dramatists luncheon in May.

Rialto thesps Jim Dale and Brian Stokes Mitchell will be on hand to pay tribute to Berlind at the luncheon, as will McCarter Theater a.d. Emily Mann. Shubert Organization toppers Philip J. Smith and Robert E. Wankel serve as chairs for the event.

Berlind’s 35 years of Broadway producing credits include “Curtains,” “Copenhagen,” “Proof,” “Nine” and “The Rink.” He’s on the producing team of five shows this season: “Book of Mormon,” “Arcadia,” “La Bete,” “Jerusalem” and “Driving Miss Daisy.”

Prior honorees of New Dramatists, the org devoted to legit scribes and new-work development, have included Julie Taymor, Horton Foote, Meryl Streep and Angela Lansbury.

Lunch is set for May 17 at the Marriott Marquis in midtown Manhattan.
