Off Broadway’s Lucille Lortel Awards have set dates, culminating in a kudo ceremony set for May 1.

Nominations will be announced late in the day on March 31, to be following by the annual cocktail reception for nominees April 11.

The May 1 awards ceremony, a benefit for legit-focused human services org the Actors Fund, will be held at NYU’s Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

Voting committee for the Lortels is comprised of reps from the Off Broadway League, Actors’ Equity Assn., Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and the Lortel Foundation, along with journos, academics and other members of the legit industry. Ceremony is produced by a committee of the Off Broadway League.

Lortels are one of several legit awards to hit Gotham in the late spring, joining the Obies, the Outer Critics, the Drama League and others in jostling for attention with the Tonys, the Broadway-centric kudos for which noms are announced May 3.
