Wright set for lead in ’21 and Over’

Laffer written, directed by Lucas, Moore

“The House Bunny” thesp Sarah Wright is set to play the female lead in the Relativity Media and Mandeville Films comedy “21 and Over.”

Wright joins Miles Teller, Skylar Astin and Justin Chon in the pic, written and directed by “The Hangover” scribes Jon Lucas and Scott Moore.

Laffer stars Teller and Astin as childhood friends who drag their straight-arrow buddy (Chon) out to celebrate his 21st birthday the night before an all-important medical school interview. As in “The Hangover,” when there’s drinking involved, things don’t go according to plan.

Wright will play Nicole, a free-spirited brunette who falls for Astin’s character despite the fact that she’s dating a steroid-using male cheerleader.

Mandeville’s David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman are producing in association with Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Produced.

Production is skedded to start in August in Washington, and Relativity will release the film next year.

Wright, who co-stars on the CBS comedy “Mad Love,” recently wrapped a role in the Rashida Jones-Andy Samberg indie “Celeste and Jesse Forever.” She is repped by ICM and Ellen Meyer Management.
