Total off-lot production rose 19% from this time last year, bringing the number of production days up from 437 to 520 for commercial, television and film.
According to figures provided by the FilmL.A. permitting agency, features saw a small increase with 88 days, up from 82 in 2010.
Television production saw a larger overall increase at 28%, up from 258 days to 331.
Conscious Christmas’ pic “The Lot” took the No. 1 spot for feature filming with 10 days. E! Entertainment’s “How Do I Look” led television shooting with 21 while a Nintendo commercial from Partizan Entertainment took up the most commercial days with eight.
Data reflects a slight decline in production from last week. Features numbered 97 days while television hit 334.Commercials saw a slight increase with 101 spots, up from 91.
