LONDON — Brit thesps Rosamund Pike, Bill Nighy and Toby Kebbell have been confirmed to join the cast of Warner Bros.’ “Clash of the Titans” sequel.
Pike is playing Queen Andromeda, replacing Alexa Davalos, who played the Greek character in last year’s “Clash of the Titans.” Variety reported that Pike was in talks for the part Feb. 8.
Kebbell, meanwhile, is set to play Poseidon’s demigod son, Argenor, while Nighy will play the fallen god Hephaestus.
The sequel, which is being helmed by “Battle: Los Angeles” director Jonathan Liebesman, will see Sam Worthington reprise his role as Perseus alongside Ralph Fiennes as Hades and Liam Neeson as Zeus.
Edgar Ramirez and Danny Huston also topline the pic.
Dan Mazeau, David Leslie Johnson and Steven Knight penned the script while Basil Iwanyk and Polly Cohen Johnsen produce.
Lensing is taking place at Shepperton Studios and on location in Surrey, South Wales and on the Spanish island of Tenerife.
