Analeigh Tipton, Dave Franco and Cory Hardrict are in line to join Summit Entertainment’s zombie pic “Warm Bodies,” an adaptation of Isaac Marion’s novel that Jonathan Levine (“50/50”) is writing and directing.
Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer and Rob Corddry star alongside John Malkovich, who Variety recently revealed is in final negotiations to play the villain.
Hoult stars as a zombie who begins an unlikely friendship with the girlfriend of one of his victims. Tipton is in negotiations to play the girlfriend’s best friend, while Franco helps leads the human resistance. Hardrict is set to play Malkovich’s character’s right-hand man.
Bruna Papandrea is producing through her Make Movies banner along with David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman via Mandeville Films. Laurie Webb and Cori Shepherd Stern are exec producing.
Tipton is repped by Abrams Artists Agency and Thirdhill Entertainment, Franco by Paradigm and James/Levy Management and Hardrict by APA and Inspire Entertainment.
