Investment bank and financial management firm Salem Partners has appointed former JP Morgan exec Rob Santos as director of development and client relations of its wealth management group.

Santos will also head Salem’s SW Contego Fund, LLC, a group of hedge funds the company started in 2008.

Salem Partners Wealth Management provides portfolio management services for a variety of clients. In the entertainment industry, the compay assists with issues including obtaining liquidity for participation interests in film and tv projects, overseeing music publshing assets and cash flow management.

“With over ten years of wealth management experience, Rob is a great reflection of the depth and skill we continue to add to the firm in support of our clients,” said Salem Partners co-founders Stephen Prough and John Dyett in a joint statement.

Prior to serving as a fixed income salesman at JP Morgan, Santos was a senior analyst for a billion dollar wealth management team at JP Morgan Securities.
