Variety’s third annual Power of Women luncheon, set for Sept. 23 at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire Hotel, will honor five women most involved in Hollywood’s philanthropic efforts. Variety’s Lifetime Impact Honorees are Annette Bening, Eva Longoria, Lea Michele, Stacey Snider and Olivia Wilde, who will be recognized for making a significant difference with their chosen causes.
Luncheon will host 450 guests and include pre- and post-ceremony cocktail receptions as well as an interactive Philanthropy Bazaar, at which guests can find out more about the featured charities.
“The goal of Variety’s Power of Women is to give voice to the philanthropic and charitable causes closest to our Lifetime Impact Honorees’ hearts, and to utilize the influence of the entertainment community to generate momentum for these same causes,” said Michelle Sobrino-Stearns, VP and associate publisher, Variety.
Bening is being honored for her work with the Actors Fund, Longoria for her charity Eva’s Heroes for special needs teens, Michele for PETA, Snider for her involvement with City Year, and Wilde for her work with Artists for Peace and Justice,
The luncheon is held in conjunction with Variety’s annual Women’s Impact Report and in partnership with Lifetime Television.
