Sarah Jessica Parker and Marisa Tomei are in early talks to star in “Married and Cheating,” an indie comedy being written and directed by Raymond De Felitta.
Story, which is set in both New York and Paris, concerns three married couples struggling to find happiness.
Michael London’s Groundswell Prods. is producing the pic along with Lauren Versel of Lucky Monkey Pictures.
A spokesperson for Groundswell stressed that no deals were done, as the project is still rounding up financing.
Parker was last seen strutting her stuff in “Sex and the City 2.” She next stars in New Line’s “New Year’s Eve” and The Weinstein Company’s “I Don’t Know How She Does It.”
Tomei, who is currently filming George Clooney’s political drama “The Ides of March,”
has three films awaiting release — “Salvation Boulevard,” “Crazy, Stupid, Love” and “The Lincoln Lawyer,” which Lionsgate opens March 18.
De Felitta is an Oscar-nominated filmmaker whose last picture, “City Island,” won the Audience Award at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2009.
