The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will honor the president and chief operating officer of Regal Entertainment Group, Greg Dunn, at the 37th annual Dinner of Champions.
In the past 18 years the gala has raised $41 million for the foundation, which helps fund research for a cure, treatments for the disease and attempts to provide the MS community with a better lifestyle.
As head of Regal, Dunn has provided the foundation with substantial funds and support. Regal has supported the National MS Society since 1995 and helps to raise awareness of the disease.
Other entertainment industry figures that have received recognition from the society include Joe Roth, who will chair this year’s dinner along with Byron Allen and Tom Sherak. The event will take place Sept. 12 at the Century Plaza Hotel.
