'Change-Up' thesp boards stripper tale

Hot off her eye-popping turn as Ryan Reynolds’ pregnant would-be conquest in “The Change-Up,” Mircea Monroe has joined the cast of Steven Soderbergh’s male stripper pic “Magic Mike.”

Alex Pettyfer stars as a young stripper who learns the ropes from a veteran played by Channing Tatum, whose real-life experience working as a stripper before he became a Hollywood leading man serves as the basis for the film.

Matthew McConaughey co-stars alongside Cody Horn, Matt Bomer, Riley Keough, Joe Mangianello, Olivia Munn, Kevin Nash, Wendi McClendon-Covey and Gabriel Iglesias.

Monroe will play the girlfriend of Bomer’s character.

Nick Wechsler and Gregory Jacobs are producing “Magic Mike” with Tatum and his 33andOut Prods. partner Reid Carolin, who also wrote the script.

Monroe, who recently wrapped a lead role in the indie comedy “Dumbbells,” currently stars as Morning Randolph on Showtime’s “Episodes.” She’s repped by Innovative Artists and Evolution Entertainment.
