Marking the company’s first partnership for digital distribution overseas, Miramax has partnered with Netflix to stream hundreds of titles to Netflix users in Latin America.

Beginning this month, users in territories including Mexico, Brazil and Argentina will be able to watch more than 140 titles. The company plans to make dozens more available on a rotating basis.

Pics including “Pulp Fiction,” “The English Patient” and “Good Will Hunting” will be viewable on multiple platforms including TV, tablet, PC and mobile phones.

“The robust Netflix platform will provide a proven avenue to reach Latin American audiences and take advantage of strong subscriber growth prospects,” Miramax CEO Mike Lang said in a statement. “We look forward to growing the international audience for the Miramax library through many more partnerships around the world.”

Financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.Pact is the second sealed between the two companies since a group of investors purchased Miramax last year. The first, a multi-year agreement inked in May, marked the first time Miramax titles became available through a digital subscription service.

“From day one, we’ve been very clear about the importance of digital and our desire to respond to the significant pent-up demand for our films — delivering to consumers whenever and wherever they want,” Lang said at the time.
