Melissa Leo and Hayden Panettiere are going ”Over the Wall,” joining Nick Stahl and Freddy Rodriguez in an indie dramatic thriller written and directed by Steven Christopher Young.

Signings were announced Thursday at the American Film Market.

Young is making his feature directorial debut with the film and producing with Larry Meistrich (”Sling Blade,” ”You Can Count on Me”) and Ken H. Keller (”Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life”). Executive producers are Steven Beer and Freddy Rodriguez.

Indomina Releasing is handling worldwide sales and introducing the project to buyers at the AFM.

Story’s set in the world of professional stock car racing and focuses on how one tragic event rips apart the lives and relationships of four closely intertwined people (husband, wife, surrogate mother and best friend) causing each of them to go to places and do things unimaginable to find redemption and to preserve the most sacred thing of all, true love.

Principal photography is slated to begin this spring in Ohio. The film will also shoot in North Carolina.

Indomina’s international sales slate includes the ”The Bounty Hunter,” ”A Fantastic Fear of Everything,” ”The Shrine” and ”Tiny Furniture.” Its parent, the Indomina Group, announced this week plans to make at least two ”Cabin Fever” films.
