Julia Roberts in talks for ‘Brothers Grimm’

Julia Roberts is in negotiations to join Relativity Media’s “The Brothers Grimm: Snow White” as the Evil Queen.

Relativity began developing the project last June as a modernized spin on the fairy tale with the studio planning to release “Snow White” in 3D. Bernie Goldmann, Brett Ratner and Ryan Kavanaugh are producing, with Relativity’s Tucker Tooley exec producing.

Melisa Wallack ‘s scripting. She directed 2007 indie comedy “Meet Bill” from a script she co-wrote with Goldmann.

Relativity’s been transforming itself into a full-fledged studio and produced “The Fighter.”

Roberts will be seen opposite Tom Hanks in Universal’s “Larry Crowne.” She’s repped by CAA.
