Jon Tenney has replaced Clark Gregg in “As Cool As I Am” opposite Claire Danes and James Marsden.

“As Cool As I Am,” produced by Identity Films and Wind Dancer Films, has also cast Peter Fonda, Alanis Morissette and Mario Batali. Other cast include Sarah Bolger, Thomas Mann, Rhys Cairo, Jeremy Sisto, Anika Noni Rose and Will Peltz.

Gregg had been offered the “Cool” role but departed when shooting dates shifted, creating a scheduling conflict with his role in “The Avengers.”

Producers are Anthony Mastromauro, Matt Williams and Judd Payne. Exec producers are Dete Meserve and David McFadzean.

Tenney will play the character of a motivational speaker. He’ll be seen next in “Green Lantern” as the father of Ryan Reynolds’ Hal Jordan character and will reprise his role as Agent Fritz Howard in the final season of TNT’s “The Closer.”

“As Cool As I Am” is directed by Max Mayer from a script by Virginia Korus Spragg, adapted from Pete Fromm’s coming-of-age novel following a Montana teen girl dealing with her self-centered parents trying to recapture the youth they feel they missed.

Tenney’s repped by UTA and Kritzer Levine Wilkins.
