The MPAA has promoted two execs in its content protection unit. Mike Robinson has advanced to exec veep and chief of operations and Kevin Suh to senior VP of Internet content protection. Both joined the MPAA in 2006.

Ann Sommerlath has joined Imax as veep of corporate communications. She moves to the large-format exhib after serving as senior veep at Edelman Public Relations.

Myung Kang-Huneke has been promoted to chief of staff at Sesame Workshop, joining CEO Gary Knell and chief operating officer H. Melvin Ming in the nonprofit org’s office of the president. She oversees the corporate partnership and development groups, among other duties. Kang-Huneke joined Sesame Workshop 12 years ago in its legal department.

Joe D’Ambrosia has been appointed veep of programming for Disney Junior, the Mouse’s program block for kids 2-7. D’Ambrosia previously worked in programming and production at Nickelodeon and Sony Pictures Family Entertainment.

Ann Marie Cumming has been named veep of communications for the National Assn. of Broadcasters. Cumming previously worked for the NAB in the 1990s and has served as a communications consultant in recent years.

Sebastian Gibbs has been upped to manager at Mandeville Television, where he works on development projects and the ABC drama “Detroit 1-8-7.”

The NBA has promoted Danny Meisles to exec veep and exec producer for production, programming and broadcasting. Meisles was previously senior veep.

Thesp Dennis Haysbert and Colleen Bell, director of special projects for Bell-Phillip Television, have joined the board of directors of the Music Center.

Adam Wolf has been upped to veep of creative for music publishing and licensing company PigFactory Music. Wolf first joined the firm in 2006 as senior creative director.
