IFC Films will release the original, uncut version of Gasper Noe film “Enter the Void” in New York and L.A. theaters ahead of an impending DVD release.

New version is 20 minutes longer than the cut first released in the U.S., and was the version auds saw in its initial release in France. “Void” opened at Gotham’s IFC Center in late September and has been playing there ever since.

“Void” centers on an expat drug dealer in Tokyo whose spirit returns after his death to watch over his sister.

French theatrical cut will run Jan. 14-20 at IFC Center and also have a Jan. 21 screening at L.A’s Nuart Theater. MPI Home Video is set to release the pic on DVD Jan. 26.
