Robert Stein and Michael Helfant’s Troika Pictures has announced a slate of new projects, including Joel Schumacher-helmed suspense thriller “The Hive.”
From a script by Rich D’Ovidio, pic centers on an emergency operator who must confront a killer from her past to save a young girl’s life.
Other projects include contemporary love story “Paradise Cove,” with Kenny Ortega circling to direct; “Ten,” produced by Ice Cube’s Cube Vision and Circle of Confusion; and romantic comedy “One Fell Swoop,” directed by “Kissing Jessica Stein” director Charles Herman-Wurmfeld.
Peter Cornwell is attached to direct “Ten” while Ice Cube is negotiating to star.
Shingle also announced the addition of Bradley Gallo as head of production and development.
Troika is currently at work on previously announced thriller “Careful What You Wish For” with “Ramona and Beezus” helmer Elizabeth Allen attached to direct.
