Halle Berry rejoins ‘New Year’s Eve’

New Line pic started production earlier this month

Halle Berry has rejoined Garry Marshall’s romantic comedy “New Year’s Eve” and will portray a nurse.

Thesp Carla Gugino has also been added to the cast.

Production on the New Line pic started earlier this month. Gotham-set movie will follow intertwining stories of characters trying to navigate their way through romance on the last night of the year.

Berry left the project last month and was replaced by Katherine Heigl in another role. Alyssa Milano also playing a nurse; cast also includes Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Robert De Niro, Josh Duhamel, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Til Schweiger and Sofia Vergara.

“Valentine’s Day” producers Mike Karz and Wayne Rice are producing “New Year’s Eve.”

Berry was last seen in “Frankie and Alice.” She’s repped by CAA.
